Practice Focus

Tom’s practice has focused on trying cases in Kansas and Missouri state and federal courts for more than a decade.  Tom has served as lead trial counsel in business, real estate, and general civil litigation disputes in both judicial and administrative proceedings.  His practice is devoted to assisting clients in resolving a wide range of business and financial disputes.  His representations include financial institutions, business owners, municipalities, real estate developers, contractors, creditors, debtors, employers, and individuals in state and federal courts.

Tom also represents Missouri and Kansas family-law clients in divorce proceedings, child support and maintenance disputes, and modification matters.

In addition to being licensed in Missouri and Kansas, Tom is authorized to practice in the United District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, the Bankruptcy Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Tom is also a certified mediator, who mediates all manner of state and federal matters, in addition to pre-litigation disputes and domestic cases.
